What is Bipolar Disorder?

Bipolar disorder causes episodes of depression. It is a mood disorder.  It also causes episodes of mania.
These episodes can affect your energy level, your ability to function, your behavior and your ability to think or reason clearly.

There is no known cure for bipolar disorder yet.  However some medications have been approved for treatment of bipolar disorder.
